Live sales sessions on Facebook – “Show me your goods” with MediaMarkt
For the MediaMarkt retail chain, we created the “Show me your goods” format, which used live coverage to present a unique (and time-limited) product offering.
the challenge
How to combine sales activities with social media and attractive, time-limited promotions?
And, how to show your products in a different way than your competitors?
the idea
This is where Mango Teleshopping came into mind.
We decided to create a live Facebook broadcast during which we would present products at promotional prices. That’s how “Show Me Your Goods” came to be.
the implementation
We prepared two live sales sessions.
The first one was about gaming products and was filmed in a geek and gaming studio. Its host was Kuba Karaś, a gaming influencer. For the second broadcast, where the topic was small household appliances, including razors and hair dryers, we decided to move to the scenery of a barbershop. Kuba Karaś was joined by Ania Kęska from the “Ania Maluje” blog. Our hosts unboxed and tested all of the products, highlighting their key features, as well as time-limited promotional prices.
As the hosts talked about the products, all links were posted in the comments in real time, highlighting the promotional price that was available for only 24 hours. At the same time, we were actively moderating and answering users’ questions, as well as passing some of them on to our hosts to clear any doubts related to the products.
